Five steps. No mystery. Every phase is confirmed before the next one starts.
Every project follows the same five-step structure. The brief confirmation and research phase are not optional -- they are the reason the first draft comes back right instead of needing three rounds of fundamental rework.
Every project begins with a structured briefing session. We ask questions most copywriters skip -- about the specific buyer, their top objections, why past customers chose you, and what the copy needs to accomplish beyond sounding good. We take notes and send a written brief back to you for sign-off before any writing starts.
We research your market, study competitor copy, and review any customer feedback, reviews, or interview transcripts you can share. If you have sales call recordings, we want them. This phase is not optional -- the research determines the quality of the first draft.
A complete first draft, not a partial or outline. Delivered as a Google Doc with annotations explaining key decisions. We write in your voice, not ours. Every significant structural or messaging choice is noted so you can evaluate it, not just feel it.
Structured revision rounds, not open-ended feedback loops. Send consolidated notes, we implement comprehensively. We do not selectively apply feedback or silently skip edits. Number of rounds depends on your package.
Clean final copy in your format. For web copy, we flag any structural or heading recommendations for your developer. For email copy, we include subject line variants and preview text. For pitches and grant applications, we include notes on layout recommendations for your designer.
All timelines run from receipt of a completed, approved brief. The discovery session and brief confirmation period is in addition to these windows.
A 3-day rush delivery add-on is available for Launch-scope projects. Rush projects require the completed brief returned within 24 hours. Add it to your package builder.
