Our Story

We write for people who can't afford average copy.

Copywriting Keeper started in 2020 out of a specific frustration: businesses spending serious money on design, ads, and strategy, then saving money on the actual words. The words are the thing. The design shows people where to look. The copy decides whether they stay, trust, and buy.

We work across six specific content types because those are the ones where bad copy has measurable, quantifiable consequences. A weak launch email sequence can be shrugged off. A weak webinar funnel losing two conversion points costs real money. An investor pitch with unclear positioning can cost a raise. We focus on the copy that costs something when it fails.

Calumet Park is not a place you usually associate with agency work. That is fine with us. We work entirely remotely and have produced copy for clients from Chicago to London to Singapore. The location says something about how we think: unpretentious, direct, focused on results.

How We Think

Three things we believe about copy.

These are not brand values written for a website. They are the actual operating principles that shape how every engagement runs.

01

Brief before writing.

We do not start writing until both sides have agreed in writing on what the copy needs to accomplish. A confirmed brief eliminates most revision rounds before they happen. We are strict about this -- not as a process formality, but because we have seen what happens when it is skipped.

02

Research is the writing.

Most copy is weak because the research phase was treated as optional overhead. If we know your buyer's exact objection, the specific alternative they have tried and found lacking, and the vocabulary they use to describe their problem -- the copy almost writes itself. If we do not, we guess. We do not guess.

03

Deliver, explain, revise.

Every deliverable includes annotated decision notes. You should understand exactly why the structure is what it is, why specific words were chosen, and what the alternatives were. If the copy does not match the brief after explanation, we fix it -- no negotiation required.

Scope

What we do -- and what we do not.

We are a copywriting studio, not a full-service agency. We write words. We do not build websites, run ads, manage social accounts, handle email deployment, or do graphic design. That is not a limitation -- it means the thing we do, we do very well.

We work in six specific categories because those are where copy has the most direct impact on outcomes: launches, funnels, LinkedIn presence, video content, investor relationships, and grant funding. Each requires a different approach, a different research process, and a different writing structure.

If you need blog content, social media management, or generic content marketing, we are not the right fit. If you need copy that needs to perform in a specific context with a specific audience, that is exactly what we build.

Services

Six services, one studio.

Industries

We have worked across these sectors.

We do not specialize by industry. We specialize by copy type. The research and brief process is how we get fluent in any market quickly -- usually within the first discovery session.

SaaS Startups Consulting Firms Non-Profits Coaches & Course Creators E-Commerce Brands Tech Companies Financial Services Healthcare Orgs Real Estate Professional Services

If your industry is not listed, it does not mean we cannot help. It means we have not worked in it yet. We take on new categories regularly when the copy type fits our services and the client can provide solid brief materials to research from.
