Questions
before you start.

Everything clients ask before, during, and after a project. If your question is not here, email hello@copywritingkeeper.com and we will answer it the same business day.

Process
We start with a structured briefing session (45 to 90 minutes, depending on the project) where we work through the brief document we send in advance. After the call, we write and share a confirmed brief before any writing starts. First draft follows within the agreed timeline. Revision rounds run from there until the copy is right or the included rounds are used.
Before writing starts, we need a completed project brief covering: your target audience (specifically), the offer and its key features or benefits, the primary objection that keeps people from buying or engaging, what you want the reader to do at the end of the piece, your tone preferences, any hard constraints (word count, brand guidelines, compliance requirements), and examples of copy you like and can articulate why you like it. We send a structured brief template within one business day of payment -- you do not need to arrive with all of this pre-organized.
The discovery session at the start requires 45 to 90 minutes of your time. After that, we handle the writing and research independently. You will need to be available to review the first draft when it arrives and provide consolidated feedback within 10 business days. Beyond those two touch points, most clients do not hear from us until the draft arrives -- unless we run into a question that needs clarification.
Use the custom package builder or the contact form to describe the project and your goal. You do not need to arrive with a fully formed brief. Part of the discovery process is helping you figure out what you actually need versus what you think you need -- those are often different.
Revisions
Revision rounds are included per package (2 for Launch, 3 for Amplify, unlimited for Authority). A revision round means consolidated feedback implemented across the full piece. If you need revisions after included rounds are used, we quote additional rounds at a flat rate. We do not nickel-and-dime small edits in the final stretch.
In our experience, "completely wrong" usually means one of two things: either the brief did not capture something critical (which is our fault for not asking the right questions), or the brief was followed but something changed after it was submitted. Either way, we address it as a priority. If the copy materially deviates from the confirmed brief -- not in tone or style, but in substance -- we fix it without counting a revision round. Show us the specific brief point that was missed and we will address it.
This depends heavily on what the copy is and how performance is being measured. If the copy delivered does not match the brief we confirmed before writing started, we fix it. If the copy matches the brief but the performance data is below expectations, we want to see the data and discuss what we can learn from it. We do not disappear after delivery.
Timelines
Three business days from receipt of a completed brief, available as the Rush Delivery add-on. This is for Launch-scope projects only. Rush projects require a completed brief returned within 24 hours of sending. We do not start a rush project without a complete brief.
Timelines start from the date we receive your completed, confirmed project brief -- not from payment date. Payment triggers the discovery session and brief process. Once the brief is confirmed in writing, the delivery clock starts. If you return the brief quickly, your project starts quickly. This is the single most important thing you can do to control your delivery timeline.
We notify you as early as possible if a deadline is at risk. We will tell you the reason, give you a revised date, and discuss options. If the delay is significant and caused by us (not by brief delays or scope changes), we offer a credit toward a future add-on or a discounted rate on the next project. We have a strong track record of hitting timelines -- but we are a small studio and we communicate proactively when something unexpected comes up.
Pricing
Because we price based on what the work actually takes, not on round-number estimates that have been inflated to feel premium. The specific figures reflect actual hourly rates multiplied by realistic project timelines across different scope levels. If the price seems oddly specific, that is because it is -- it is the actual number that makes the economics work on both sides.
Our prices are fixed for the scope listed. If the listed scope is more than you need, you can reduce it -- shorter email sequences, fewer revision rounds, a single funnel page instead of a full stack. The price adjusts to the reduced scope. If you need more than the listed scope, we quote the additional elements separately. We do not discount the same scope -- it implies the original price was inflated, and it was not.
Yes. Monthly retainer arrangements are available for clients who need consistent output -- LinkedIn content calendars, monthly emails, ongoing funnel testing, or regular pitch deck updates. Contact us for retainer pricing as it varies by volume and type.
Other
We have produced copy across SaaS, consulting, financial services, non-profits, healthcare, real estate, e-commerce, and professional services. Our focus is on the type of copy (launch, funnel, LinkedIn, video, pitch, grant) rather than a specific industry. The brief process and research phase are how we get fluent in your market quickly.
Yes, we sign NDAs for all projects on request. We treat all client materials as confidential by default regardless of whether an NDA is signed, but we understand that some industries and projects require it formally.
No. Every piece of copy delivered by Copywriting Keeper is written by a human copywriter. We use AI tools for research support -- summarizing competitor reviews, finding relevant statistics, organizing brief notes -- but the actual writing, the structural decisions, the word choices, and the argument construction are all done manually. Our clients are paying for strategic human thinking, and AI cannot do that reliably in high-stakes copy contexts.
Default delivery is a Google Doc with edit access and annotated comments explaining key decisions. We can also deliver Microsoft Word (.docx), PDF, or plain text depending on your preference and the project type. Grant applications and formal proposals are typically delivered as PDFs. State your preferred format in the project brief and we will match it. All delivery is digital -- nothing is printed or physically shipped.
